We have over 200 staff currently working for the Housing Choices team in seven offices across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales. Our staff numbers and office locations are continually growing as we aim to extend our reach nationally. Close collaboration is key. Led by our Executive team, our staff work across four broad teams:
OperationsOur Housing team look after all our housing related services, tenancy and property management as well as community development.
Property Development and Asset ManagementOur Property Development and Asset Management team are responsible for the development and procurement of property (i.e. new property, capital upgrades), facilities management, asset management strategies and systems.
Corporate ServicesOur Corporate Services team works together to deliver a range of internal support functions – Finance, Information Technology and Administration.
Strategy and EngagementOur Strategy and Engagement team is responsible for strategy and business development, communications and engagement, people and culture.
Housing Choices is fortunate to have a Board of Directors and Executive Management team comprising highly skilled leaders from a variety of fields and sectors. These leaders are passionately driven by a shared desire to make a significant difference to the lives of those we aim to help.
Our Board's commitment to improving and developing staff skills right across our operations doesn’t stop at the boardroom door. Our Directors regularly undertake training and development programs to enhance their own skills in governance and sector compliance.
In working towards these identified goals, we find ways to network and influence with greater impact, collaborating and sharing expertise to enable better and scalable practices. All of this occurs while continuing to prudently oversee the ongoing financial management and compliance requirements of what is a complex and highly regulated organisation.
