Simeon Goldenberg

Simeon Goldenberg joined the Housing Choices board in 2025. He has 25 years of executive experience within the investment, financial services and real estate industries via private businesses and subsidiaries of listed companies.
Prior to joining Besen Family Office as an Executive Director, Simeon was appointed Chief Executive of Icon, Kajima Corporation’s Australian Real Estate business. Previous executive roles include positions at KPMG Corporate Finance and Gersh Investment Partners.
Throughout his career, Simeon has been involved in overseeing and managing diverse finance and real estate businesses covering health, aged care, retirement, residential, commercial and industrial real estate. He is a strong proponent of positive corporate cultures and has successfully steered organisations through significant periods of growth and transformation.
Simeon’s non-executive roles have been in the retirement, fintech, investment and construction industries, whilst his not-for-profit positions have been within community organisations spanning health, sport, technology, aged care and education. Simeon is currently an independent board member of Cabrini Health where he is Chair of the Major Construction and Projects Committee and has been involved in the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
Simeon is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Fellow of the Financial Institute of Australia.
