Salman Choudhry, CFA is the Interim Chief Investment Officer at Housing Choices Australia, where he leads the organisation’s investment strategy, major commercial transactions, and funding partnerships. He works closely with government, lenders, institutional investors, and delivery partners to support and accelerate the delivery of Housing Choices’ national development pipeline.
Salman has been with Housing Choices for over a decade, progressing through senior commercial and investment leadership roles before being appointed Interim Chief Investment Officer in December 2025.
With more than 17 years of international experience across sovereign wealth funds, boutique investment banks Salman brings deep expertise in financial structuring, deal execution, capital strategy, and risk governance. He has played a central role in shaping innovative funding models adopted by government, securing large-scale social and affordable housing projects, and strengthening the organisation’s long-term investment capability.
