Jesse Agbinya
Acting Chief Financial Officer
Jesse is the Acting Chief Financial Officer at Housing Choices Australia, leading HCA’s finance function, including financial reporting, planning and analysis, payroll, finance operations, commercial modelling, and regulatory compliance.
Since joining in September 2024 as Director of Finance, he has played a key leadership role in strengthening financial management, supporting major transformation programs, and enhancing long-term planning and analytics capability across the organisation.
Jesse is an experienced finance executive and Chartered Accountant with a career spanning financial services, telecommunications, health, and infrastructure. Prior to joining Housing Choices, he was Head of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), and has held senior finance roles at Bupa, nbnCo, Lendlease, Tandem, and Deloitte.
He is known for his human centred leadership style and focus on building high-performing teams, with a strong emphasis on financial management, commercial insight, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Jesse also serves as Treasurer and Non-Executive Director at Eating Disorder Victoria.
He holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Honours) from Western Sydney University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
