During the transfer process, Housing Tasmania will continue to be your point of contact for any maintenance issues you have. You should expect that maintenance works continue as normal during this period.

From Monday 8 November 2021, Housing Choices Tasmania will become your new housing provider. At this time, Housing Choices Tasmania will become your point of contact for all maintenance related matters and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of your property.

Housing Choices Tasmania has an experienced maintenance team, a dedicated panel of local contractors and consistently delivers high quality maintenance services in a timely manner.

We have a dedicated maintenance team to deal with all maintenance requests. The team has staff with residential building knowledge and experience and we work closely with a panel of dedicated local contractors who know our portfolio of properties. This, together with our well-established processes, ensures we deliver a high-quality maintenance service to each of our highly valued residents.

Every 6 – 12 months, we conduct property inspections, which help us maintain the quality and standard of your home to meet your and future residents’ expectations.

If something is damaged or broken in your home, you can call our Repairs and Maintenance Hotline to get it repaired. We also have a highly responsive after-hours emergency repairs hotline to ensure essential services are maintained and urgent and emergency maintenance requests are dealt with in a timely fashion.
