Allocation Principles

As a general guide, each state has certain eligibility criteria that you must meet in order to access social/affordable housing. These criteria relate to: Australian Citizenship and/or Resident Status; Age; Income or Assets.

Applicants for Affordable Housing products delivered under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) are required to meet the income eligibility criteria set by the Department of Social Service.
